About the Role

The company is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead the redesign of our current architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability across our platform. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for assessing the current system architecture and identifying areas for improvement. You will then design and implement a scalable, secure, and resilient architecture that aligns with business goals and regulatory compliance requirements. This includes defining technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for software development, leading the migration and refactoring of legacy systems to modern architectures, and collaborating with engineering teams to guide implementation and resolve architectural challenges.

If you have a passion for designing and implementing scalable microservices and cloud-native architectures, and are well-versed in a range of technologies including Nest JS, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Vue.js, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Nginx, Apache Kafka, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Software Architect at the company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, DevOps, and product teams, to design a robust, scalable, and efficient architecture that meets the needs of the business. You will also be responsible for evaluating and integrating third-party services, APIs, and cloud platforms, optimizing system performance, monitoring, and security, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.

We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, who is able to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Experience in fintech, regtech, or compliance-focused software development is a plus, as is experience with secure coding practices and building software with security in mind.
