Lead Full-stack Developer Opportunity

  • Design, develop and support custom IP analysis applications for a large patent portfolio.
  • Built custom applications using the latest web technologies to deliver data in a faster and more efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translate functional requirements into well-engineered code that complies with accepted industry standards.
  2. Own assigned user stories with minimal supervision.
  3. Guide junior team members on development standards and good design practices.
  4. Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest constructive changes.
  5. Manage priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Effectively communicate with business partners, analysts, project managers, and team members.

Technical Requirements:

  1. Full stack development in Java Web Applications.
  2. Experience in UI development using web technologies such as Angular/React, Java 8+, Python, Relational & NoSQL databases, Spring, Hibernate, Apache Solr, Messaging system, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6, and TypeScript.
  3. Development experience in BDD or TDD approach.
  4. Knowledge of AWS, Cloud, and Micro Services is a plus.
  5. Ability to analyze requirements, design, code reviews, deployments, and product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  2. 3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development.
  3. 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with reputable organizations.
  • Proficiency in Java 8 or higher, Python, Groovy, Spring, Hibernate.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience in full-stack development and building user interfaces using technologies like Angular/React JS and other necessary web technologies.
  • Exposure in building cloud-native software preferably with AWS.
  • Exposure in designing and developing data models using RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
