Financial Transaction Manager

Imagine a role where you can utilize your financial expertise to drive business success.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and reliability of accounting information. This involves preparing monthly financial reports for management review and audit final accounts with supporting documentation for annual external audits.
In addition, the successful applicant will coordinate with banks to calculate financial income on a monthly basis for management reporting purposes. They will also prepare and update monthly agility reports, as well as coordinate with the treasury and remittance team to prepare weekly cash flow forecasts for management review.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The candidate should have a minimum MBA in Finance or ACCA/CMA certification, with relevant working experience in the shipping industry being a plus.
Key qualifications include good knowledge of general accounting, audit processes, and techniques, as well as taxation principles. Proficiency in IT tools, particularly Oracle-based financials, is essential.
