Job Opportunity

This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in site reliability engineering to lead initiatives that improve application and platform reliability, stability, and observability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop data-driven analytics to enhance service levels and design robust, stable systems.
  • Collaborate on observability and reliability designs for complex systems.
  • Create and maintain code in Java or Python to build and enhance observability tools and platforms.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve system reliability and developer productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and advisory to multiple technical team members.
  • Anticipate needs and potential dependencies of other functions within the organization.
  • Be accountable for decisions influencing teams' resources, tactical operations, and process execution.
  • Ensure successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Mitigate issues to execute a book of work while escalating as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Formal training or certification in software applications concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes with emerging depth in one or more technical disciplines.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Angular, Python, and Terraform.
  • Advanced knowledge of observability tools and platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana).
  • Extensive experience in a similar SRE or observability role.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems related to complex data structures and algorithms.
  • Drive to self-educate and evaluate new technology.
  • Strong leadership and management experience with the ability to lead, guide, and mentor a team.
