Financial Management Role

This is a critical position for a seasoned professional who can effectively manage the financial aspects of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual budgets based on strategic goals and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Evaluate actual expenditures against budgeted figures to assess financial performance.
  • Distribute funds effectively across departments or projects.
  • Periodically revise budgets to reflect changing business needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, summaries, and reports for management.
  • Ensure financial reports comply with legal and industry standards.
  • Monitor key financial indicators such as profit margins, cash flow, and return on investment.
  • Provide actionable insights from financial data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Requirements:
  1. A Master's degree in finance or a relevant field, preferably with certifications like ACCA, ICMA, or CA-Finalist.
  2. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in financial management, including 3 years post-qualification in a large organization.
  3. A solid understanding of financial systems, IFRS, and statutory/tax regulations.
  4. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  6. Knowledge of accounting obligations, rules, and tax implications.
