Electrical Engineer

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated electrical engineer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As an electrical engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop engineering deliverables as per project specification and client requirement.
  • Identify scope of work related to electrical systems, list of engineering documents deliverables and communicate to other supporting departments for required inputs.
  • Attend regular project progress meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare RFQ for all electrical items.
  • Review sub-vendor offers and provide technical recommendations to procurement department.
  • Raise purchase order requests (IR) for electrical items.
  • Identify risks or opportunities with respect to electrical systems and inform Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Handle electrical equipment such as motors, control stations, starters, etc.
  • Prepare all electrical related documents including single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, etc.
  • Review P&ID for electrical related scopes to ensure proper alignment.
  • Provide electrical related support to internal testing engineers to ensure FAT completion.
  • Provide electrical related support to QC teams towards closure of punch points and obtain IRN for on-time delivery.
  • Travel to site for commissioning activities related to electrical works.
  • Ensure work is carried out in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable contracts, company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify areas of concern with assigned projects and recommend corrective action wherever required.
  • Perform all tasks required in the initiation, execution and closure of the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE /BSc) in Electrical from a reputed university with good academic record.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in wellhead control panels, metering skids, water treatment packages would be preferred.
  • Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/Shell/QE Energy company specifications would be considered as an added advantage.
  • Mandatory experience with explosion-proof equipment's, ATEX/IECEx certifications and Ingress protection certifications.
  • Good hands-on expertise on design side.
  • Co-ordination with cross-functional departments to ensure committed deliverables are submitted on time.
  • Basic exposure to reading P&ID and fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with all kinds of electrical symbols as per international standards.
