ResponsibilitiesPerform radiology procedures with specified patient positions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety measures are taken for patients and equipment. Guide junior colleagues in performing procedures and handling/caring for equipment:
- Performing procedures according to departmental standards and processes mentioned in credentialing documents.
- Positioning equipment at a proper distance and angle from the patient's body to present clear and undisturbed images.
- Selecting the proper cassette for procedures.
- Performing diagnostic procedures on patients as prescribed by clinicians, observing safety measures.
- Properly logging procedures performed.
- Determining proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each procedure.
- Processing images and checking quality as required.
- Performing procedures from different angles as prescribed by physicians.
- Equipment maintenance by cleaning and making minor adjustments, reporting any faults or breakdowns to supervisors.
