
Finance Administrator Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and organized Finance Administrator to support the growth of our organization. This role will be based in a busy accounts department, where you will assist the Credit Control function by resolving queries, chasing debts, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily Correspondence Management: Efficiently manage daily correspondence received via post and email, ensuring timely responses to maintain excellent relationships with clients.
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices with accurate purchase order numbers within agreed timeframes, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain confidentiality at all times, using discretion when necessary to protect sensitive information.
- Client Communication: Ensure invoices meet client requirements with relevant information, providing clear and concise communication to resolve any queries or issues.
- Phone and Email Etiquette: Make and receive phone calls, responding promptly to emails and voicemails to maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Departmental Support: Provide cover for the department when required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform general ad-hoc duties as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the accounts department.
- Telephone Manner: A confident telephone manner, ensuring clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail, able to analyze situations and provide effective solutions.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Business Relationships: Develop good business relationships with clients, building trust and confidence through exceptional customer service.
- Enthusiasm and Resilience: Enthusiasm and resilience, able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- IT Systems: A solid understanding of IT systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), able to utilize software and technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Initiative and Teamwork: Able to work under own initiative as part of a team, contributing to the success of the accounts department and the organization as a whole.
