Women's Apparel Fashion Designer Role

  • Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and design women's apparel products that align with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including patternmakers, sample makers, and production teams, to ensure accurate execution of designs.
  • Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for designs, considering factors like quality, cost, and availability.
  • Develop prototypes and samples, making adjustments as necessary, and participate in fit sessions and testing to ensure functionality and comfort.
  • Present design concepts to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients through clear and compelling presentations.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a fashion designer, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of design and creativity.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
