Project Director

A seasoned project director is required to oversee the operation and technical planning of various projects, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operation and technical planning, and implementation of various projects
  • Provide leadership and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Prepare effort estimates for all deliverables, keeping in-view constraints like resource proficiency skill, experience and technology etc.
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Plan walkthroughs of all deliverables
  • Ensure that all deliverables are being produced and properly maintained by the team
  • Implement procedures to ensure proper archival of development products
  • Deliver application architecture
  • Help developers resolve technical issues
  • Ensure execution of software engineering processes at all stages of development
  • Assess work of team members and ensure that software engineering procedures are duly followed
  • Ensure development of hi-quality software, with minimum possible bug rate
  • Ensure that users requirements are being incorporated in the system
  • Foster a culture of following development policies on recording resource consumption and task assignments
  • Reviews project progress, resource performance, and estimated v/s actual effort on all deliverables on a regular basis
  • Takes action if deliverables are not being delivered as per estimated time line
  • Help resources develop in areas where they are deficient
  • Maintains metrics on bug rate of project versions, teams and individual resources
  • Maintains metrics pertaining to quantity of work of team members and overall resource consumption
