We are looking for a highly skilled technical professional to fill this Help Desk role.

This position involves providing exceptional customer support via phone, email or in person. We require the successful candidate to have extensive knowledge of computer software and hardware as well as strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide assistance to users on hardware, software and network issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
  • System Maintenance: Install, configure and maintain computer systems.
  • User Training: Train users on new software or equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Skillset: Knowledge of hardware, software, networking and operating systems such as Windows and Mac OS.
  • Cognitive Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
