Medical Billing Specialist

We provide offshore corporate services to our partner healthcare organizations in the United States, including marketing, communications, accounting, financial planning, revenue cycle management, information technology, and clinical support.

Our team works closely with insurance companies and healthcare providers to secure timely payments for medical claims. This involves reviewing and managing claims using billing software systems, working with insurance representatives to resolve claim issues, and collaborating with clinical teams to audit charting accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institute and 2–5 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable. They will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities, and high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Review and manage claims using billing software systems.
    • Work with insurance companies and healthcare providers to secure timely payments.
    • Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
    • Follow up on unpaid claims until resolved.
    • Document detailed notes on claim follow-up activities.
    • Identify and correct claim errors; initiate rebilling as necessary.
    • Research payer-specific billing guidelines and implement best practices.
    • Handle appeals and reconsiderations for denied claims.
    • Collaborate with insurance representatives to resolve claim issues.
    • Audit clinical charting for accuracy.
    • Prepare and submit claims through EMR and clearinghouses.
  • Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institute.
    • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable.
    • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities, and high attention to detail.
