Senior Research Assistant
A collaborative research role for those passionate about maternal and child health. This position involves working with a team to gather data, conduct awareness sessions, and provide counseling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing weekly reports for project supervisors;
- Maintaining accurate records of project incentives and social mobilizer activities;
- Translating and typing project documents in Urdu;
- Ensuring proper data management and maintenance;
- Organizing and conducting community awareness sessions;
- Providing effective counseling services to study participants;
- Collaborating with project supervisors to discuss field-related activities;
- Delivering training to staff members as per study protocols and guidelines;
- Managing fieldwork processes to optimize time utilization;
- Visiting households in communities to ensure successful data collection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a relevant field;
- 2-3 years of experience in maternal and child health, preferably in breastfeeding counseling;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Team player with good writing skills;
- Familiarity with survey and research designs;
- Effective time management and task prioritization abilities;
- Good computer and report writing skills;
- Willingness to work in communities/field sites.
