We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and frameworks, especially web application development.

They will be able to interpret business and technical requirements, develop testing protocols to verify application functionality, document bugs clearly, and infer test results.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of software and web development processes
  • Proven track record in software quality assurance
  • Knowledge of QA terminology, methods, and tools, including experience with manual testing environments and continuous integration platforms
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and cases
  • Experience with white-box and black-box testing
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing tools
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps frameworks
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Quick learner with independent working skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
  • Review project requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide feedback
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements
  • Coordinate with developers to estimate time for bug-free task delivery within sprints
  • Develop and maintain testing protocols and bug tracking documents
  • Perform regression testing after bug fixes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand system requirements
  • Investigate non-conforming software issues and train users
  • Monitor QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay updated on testing tools and strategies
  • Develop QA standards and collaborate to achieve team goals
  • Identify potential risks with root cause analysis and preventive measures
