Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required to excel as a DevOps professional. The role involves developing and maintaining the infrastructure automation framework for continuous integration and deployment, collaborating with development teams to determine software deployment requirements, utilizing cloud platforms to design and implement scalable and reliable systems, monitoring and optimizing system performance, availability, and reliability, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues, implementing security best practices to ensure data and system integrity, participating in on-call rotation for production support, and continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a comprehensive infrastructure automation framework to streamline CI/CD processes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software deployment needs and develop solutions.
  3. Leverage cloud platforms to design and deploy highly available and scalable systems.
  4. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high uptime and responsiveness.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues promptly.
  6. Implement robust security measures to protect data and systems from potential threats.
  7. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 production support.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to boost team productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
  1. Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby.
  2. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  3. Solid understanding of Linux server administration principles.
  4. Proficient in working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  5. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  6. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Nagios, ELK, or Prometheus.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
