Role Overview

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and vision, architecting scalable systems, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Gather in-depth understanding of the code base, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Provide and share broad knowledge of technologies and architectures, and mentor within your product stream and the broader team.
  • Collaborate with other Leads and Seniors to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Promote companywide coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership and mentorship by setting challenging yet achievable goals.
  • Influence the technical vision and direction within your stream.
  • Work closely with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Hire top talent to build high-performing teams and raise the engineering bar.
  • Own and track business KPIs, acting as a conduit to the Product team and business functions.
  • Ensure daily decisions align with the company's vision and strategic direction.
  • Coach team members to develop into future technical leaders.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of Javascript and ReactJS.
  • Experience with open-source web frameworks like NextJS.
  • Proficiency in source code control, build processes, CI/CD, and automated testing.
  • Ability to architect scalable and available systems.
  • Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with high-traffic, large-scale web products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP.
  • Knowledge of product, design, and UX principles.
  • Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementing next-generation web applications.
