Job Title: HVAC Technician

The company seeks a skilled HVAC technician to support the maintenance, modification and other related works of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role will provide support to our LNG facilities HVAC maintenance activities by the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and support the maintenance, modification and other related works of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, including preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up tasks to ensure maximum operational efficiency of Company Assets.
  • Support Our LNG facilities HVAC maintenance activities by the highest quality and safety standards as per Company standards and codes.
  • Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up of new equipment and facilities.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on field HVAC equipment as directed in the field and workshop in line with safe work practices.
  • Ensure that applicable material and spare parts are available and in good condition before commencing maintenance activities as per work plan.
  • Ensure applicable maintenance procedures are followed and ensure proper controls are in place to ensure a safe workplace is maintained.
  • Provide accurate records and close-out reports of all completed work as per company requirements.
  • Participate in troubleshooting of HVAC issues, and issue timely reports.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School education followed by vocational training program (TAFE).
  • 3 years' experience as a technician in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry
  • Extensive experience in the operation, maintenance and condition monitoring of HVAC equipment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
  • Computer literate with basic knowledge in MS Office software.
