Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial professional to join our finance team as an Assistant Manager of Finance. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the financial management of the company, preparing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, and providing insights to support decision-making. They will also assist in the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and models to support business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, payroll tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other finance team members and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 6 to 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or taxation.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and tools, preferably QB online and Odoo.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
