Trainee Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Trainee Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will learn how to perform market research with reliable sources and craft comprehensive business plans.

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. This includes analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.

A key aspect of this role is preparing reports on financial performance and working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

We will provide guidance through the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.

In this position, you will gain knowledge in trend analysis and forecasting, as well as recommend actions for optimization.

Analyze and interpret data, making comparative analyses and studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

This role involves identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.

Develop automated reporting/forecasting tools to increase productivity.

Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.

Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation by creating forecasts and models.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of business finance or other relevant experience; MBAs are preferred.
  • Finance, Accounting, and Economics are preferred major fields.
  • Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Should be tech-savvy.
  • Ability to learn new things.
