Job Description

As a Lead Engineer Project, you will be responsible for leading and executing control system / industrial automation projects from concept to completion. This involves defining project scope and deliverables, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, programming, and troubleshooting DCS and PLC systems
  2. Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting ESD and F&G systems
  3. Creating and optimizing HMI scripting for enhanced system functionality
  4. Configuring and troubleshooting industrial communication protocols
  5. Preparing thorough documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and testing procedures
  6. Utilizing knowledge of VMWare products for project requirements
  7. Proficiency in MS Windows Server based machines and MS Office applications
  8. Hands-on experience with L2/L3 networking equipment like switches, routers, and firewalls
  9. Hands-on with EPLAN/AutoCAD
  10. Knowledge of VB applications
  11. Coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure that project objectives are met
  12. Overseeing project execution
  13. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
  14. Ensuring that the project meets its quality, cost, and schedule goals
  15. Identifying and mitigating risks
  16. Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address project requirements and constraints
  17. Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, Safety & regulatory requirements, and company policies
  18. Providing technical support/guidance to clients and engineers on project team
  19. Implementing and overseeing quality control processes and testing procedures
  20. Lead engineers play a critical role in ensuring the success of engineering projects. They must be able to think strategically, solve problems, and motivate and inspire others. They must also be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  21. Preparing and presenting project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders
  22. Implementing best practices and process improvements within the Engineering Department
  23. Adhering to safety and quality standards in all activities
