Logistics Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled logistics professional to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to customers and ensuring seamless delivery operations.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for responding to customer support queries on a daily basis, utilizing your excellent communication skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Raising courier exceptions with our logistics department is another crucial aspect of this role, requiring attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Following up with couriers on parcels that exceed delivery service level agreements is also a critical task, necessitating strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Raising claims with respective couriers for lost or damaged parcels is another essential responsibility, requiring professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining accurate records of claims, including updates on accepted, rejected, and in-process claims, is a vital part of this role, demanding strong administrative skills and data management abilities.
  • This role also involves performing other miscellaneous tasks assigned by your reporting manager, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.

Requirements:

  • To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar field is required, demonstrating your ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
  • You should possess excellent MS Office skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
