We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead our client acquisition efforts. This is a foundational role, and you will be a key strategic partner to the founder.

As a senior sales professional with a passion for technology, you will have a tangible impact on our company's trajectory. You will develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy, including identifying target markets, defining ideal client profiles, and building a repeatable sales playbook.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy that drives growth and revenue.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial research and outbound prospecting to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Proactively generate and nurture a robust pipeline of qualified leads through various channels.
  • Work directly with the founder to provide critical market insights and analyze industry trends.
  • Define the sales team's structure and mentor future hires.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or B2B sales, specifically within the software, IT, or technology services industry.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully closing B2B software or service deals and consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic mindset, analytical skills, and ability to build a scalable sales process from scratch.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with talent for crafting compelling proposals and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Self-starter who can work independently, take full ownership of results, and thrive in an autonomous startup environment.
  • Existing professional network within the tech or related industries is a strong advantage.
