Communication Strategist

Job Description

The Communication Strategist will play a key role in developing and designing all communication materials, promotional items, and visibility tools.

  1. Develop high-quality communication materials that align with the organization's objectives;
  2. Conduct research on public health areas as required by the organization and document findings in briefs, papers, or reports;
  3. Prepare program/project-related documents/write-ups needed by the organization;
  4. Ensure thorough proofreading and professional editing of all documents, reports, and publications;
  5. Contribute to the planning, development, and designing of all communication, promotional, and visibility materials;
  6. Create customized reports and analyses as needed;
  7. Represent the organization in advocacy working groups, meetings, workshops, seminars, training sessions, and briefing sessions;
  8. Develop engaging presentations to showcase organizational activities effectively;
  9. Assist in the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of program/project activities;
  10. Support management in operational matters as needed;
  11. Participate in regular internal and external program meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters degree in a relevant field from a reputable university;
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity preferred;
  • Exceptional writing and strong communication skills are essential;
  • Proficiency in computer use, especially MS Office;
  • Energetic, team-oriented individual with a willingness to learn and develop professionally;
  • Strong work ethics and values.
