Pursuing a challenging role as a Sourcing and Product Development Specialist where I can utilize my skills to identify and source high-quality products while managing the product development timeline.
Job Description:
As a Sourcing and Product Development Specialist, key responsibilities include conducting market research to identify new products and trends in various categories, evaluating and sourcing potential suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating product pricing and production schedules with suppliers, collaborating with the marketing team to develop product descriptions and promotional materials, and maintaining accurate product information and pricing in company databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, or a related field, a strong understanding of related categories, excellent sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Business, or a related field is preferred.
