Job Title

Sovereign Express Trade is seeking a skilled Import Export Executive to manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Import/Export Operations Management
    • Manage all aspects of import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
    • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards.
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers.
    • Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Documentation and Compliance Management
    • Prepare and review import/export documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of import/export activities.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in trade regulations.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Act as liaison between suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
    • Address and resolve issues during the import/export process.
    • Provide regular updates on shipment status.
    • Collaborate with sales and finance departments.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline import/export processes.
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in import/export documentation and software.
