Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to test our games. The ideal candidate is a dedicated gamer with a solid QA background who can identify and accurately report issues in an organized fashion.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires manual black box testing of iOS / Android games.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for critical analysis of games from user and developer perspectives.
  • They will find bugs, report issues, and verify new features on assigned games with limited supervision.
  • The QA specialist will document bugs with clear reproduction steps and identify similar problems to what is being tested.
  • They will also maintain bugs throughout their entire life cycle and work closely with other teams.
  • Owning all or part of the testing effort on multiple projects simultaneously is a key aspect of this role.
  • The QA specialist will compose daily and weekly reports to the team manager and point of contact.
Requirements
  • A passion for games and testing is essential.
  • A solid understanding of the QA cycle and processes is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with black box testing of games.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) are necessary.
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills are also required.
  • The ability to multitask and work extended hours when necessary is beneficial.
  • Persistence, patience, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for success in this role.
  • The right candidate will be motivated, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality results.
