Job Role Summary

A cyber security expert plays a crucial role in safeguarding an organization's digital infrastructure from potential threats. This position requires expertise in threat hunting, incident response, and vulnerability assessments to maintain the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor IT infrastructure for potential threats.
  • Utilize defined workflow and processes to drive response and mitigation efforts.
  • Collect relevant data and artifacts for incident response activities.
  • Conduct technical analysis on impacted systems to determine impact, scope, and recovery from cyber incidents.
  • Analyze logs and collaborate with IT teams.
  • Evaluate system weaknesses and recommend improvements.
  • Enhance defenses against potential attacks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to new team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel and O365 Security – OCAS.
