DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, managing cloud costs, and ensuring optimal utilization of our resources.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools, cost management, and cloud providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud service provider pricing models, rate changes, discount programs, and track server rates, discount programs, monitoring utilization, and ensuring optimal utilization of our infrastructure.
  • Track and document infrastructure costs, utilization metrics, and cost-saving opportunities across all environments.
  • Maintain a centralized, updated infrastructure inventory (servers, networking gear, licenses, cloud resources, etc.).
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams for budgeting, vendor negotiations, and invoicing clarity.
  • Recommend rightsizing and reallocation based on usage patterns and forecasting.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for application delivery.
  • Deploy and manage microservices-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor application and system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and availability across all systems and environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering role.
  • Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including cost management tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud procurement models (reserved instances, savings plans, spot instances).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, cost tracking, and utilization reporting.
  • Proven expertise in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
