Role Overview:

This role requires the DevOps Lead to take charge of designing, implementing, and evolving the systems that power our development lifecycle. You'll lead efforts to streamline build, test, deployment, and monitoring pipelines across environments, and act as the technical backbone for automation, infrastructure scalability, and operational excellence.

This role requires deep technical expertise, a hands-on mindset, and the ability to mentor and guide a growing DevOps function.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead the design and management of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.

·Oversee cloud environment provisioning, scaling, and maintenance (AWS/GCP/Azure).

·Ensure system reliability through effective monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery.

·Champion DevOps culture across engineering teams — promoting best practices in automation, observability, security, and incident response.

·Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless software delivery.

·Maintain a proactive approach to performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning.

·Drive adoption of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and related technologies.

·Manage incident postmortems and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and resilience.

·Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing DevOps engineering team.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

·Minimum 6 - 8 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior-level position.

·Strong Windows and Linux (CentOS & Ubuntu) administrative skills.

·Proven knowledge of CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), and version control systems (Git).

·Should possess experience in the software development process and tools and languages like SaaS, Python, Java, MongoDB, Shell scripting, Python, MySQL, and Git.

·Good understanding of DevSecOps principles, secrets management, and secure cloud operations.

·Experience leading root cause analysis, and reliability improvement efforts.

·Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills; ability to work cross-functionally and drive technical discussions with non-technical stakeholders.

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent industry certifications are a plus.
