Job Title: Software Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled software development specialist to join our team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java software development and experience with advanced technologies such as Object Oriented Programming, source control, continuous integration, automated deployment, and Test Driven Development.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design and develop project solutions and architecture components, validate designs with stakeholders, and estimate, build, and test software components.
  2. Integration and Testing: Estimate and build integration components and user interfaces, follow good security coding practices, and fix defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
  3. Documentation and Collaboration: Document application code to facilitate maintenance and customer usage, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical and user documentation.
  4. Research and Innovation: Participate in research and contribute to innovation as required, investigate and resolve support issues, and contribute to the continual improvement of the team and development processes.
Requirements:
  • Software Development Techniques: More than 3 years experience in Java software development, advanced understanding of Object Oriented Programming, source control, continuous integration, automated deployment, and Test Driven Development.
  • Technology Specific Experience: Experience in J2SE, J2EE, EJB3, Solaris, and financial services industry.
  • Language Requirements: English spoken and written to business level.
  • Personal Qualities: Willingness to work outside primary capacity, strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication skills, and strong collaboration mind-set.
