About The Team

This team's mission is to develop our next generation of engineers through a structured learning journey in software development best practices and scalable system architecture. This programme spans all areas of engineering, including Backend, Frontend, Web, Mobile, Data Analysis, MLOps, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and QA.

Job Description

As a leader in this team, you will be responsible for guiding a group of engineers in delivering high-quality services and fostering strong engineering foundations. You will drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable distributed systems in a microservices-based architecture. You will mentor engineers in applying Clean Code principles, test-driven development, and other industry best practices.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and improve engineering efficiency.
  • You will partner with other leaders to shape the technical roadmap and evolve the programme structure.
  • You will maintain a high level of engagement and support across the team through regular feedback and coaching.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a management/senior engineering team lead role. You should have strong software engineering skills, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, software design, and object-oriented programming.

  • You should have working knowledge of at least one of these languages: Java, Go, Python, .NET.
  • You should have a deep understanding of how to build scalable distributed systems.
  • You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
  • You should be a leader who is passionate about growing talent and developing people.
  • You should demonstrate ability to run and improve technical development processes.
  • You should be passionate about building strong, collaborative teams.
