IT Network Professional

The successful candidate will oversee the management of a large network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain a network of 220 nodes
  2. Implement network monitoring systems to ensure real-time visibility and proactive issue resolution
  3. Collaborate with IT suppliers to ensure seamless integration and efficient operations
  4. Verify internet links and connections to guarantee uninterrupted service
  5. Oversee the management and monitoring of Sysco switches and firewalls
  6. Administer server configurations, including ISA, Authentication, Domain Controller, Antivirus, etc.
  7. Manage tickers and attendance systems
  8. Configure client end software and hardware for optimal performance
  9. Install service packs, hot fixes, security updates, and other software as required
  10. Maintain accurate records of IT stock inventory
  11. Process warranty claims in a timely manner
  12. Organize training sessions for staff as needed
  13. Address user complaints promptly and professionally
Job Authorities

The IT Manager will have the authority to:

  1. Assign tasks to subordinates
  2. Create shift duty rosters
  3. Establish performance targets for team members
  4. Organize the IT office premises to optimize productivity
  5. Make petty cash purchases for IT materials
  6. Plan and implement staff training programs
  7. Manage leave requests from subordinates
  8. Conduct regular inspections of IT equipment to prevent misuse or malfunctioning
