Do you want to lead a high-performing team and build world-class software applications? We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Pakistan engineering office. With over 300+ engineers, we are expanding our operations and need someone who can drive growth, innovation, and excellence.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing cloud software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, secure, and reliable systems that handle millions of requests per day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and designing cloud software applications
  • Collaborating with product, infrastructure, design, UX, CLM, and strategy teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Enforcing agile practices such as test-driven development, CI, and test automation
  • Cultivating technical backlog and prioritizing tasks based on business needs
  • Analyzing and remediating production issues, ensuring operational readiness and fault tolerance in system architecture
  • Leading a team of engineers, mentoring them on good code design patterns, and hiring A-players to build high-performing teams
  • Ensuring the highest standards of security for all platforms and underlying infrastructure

Requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
  • 10+ years of server/client-side software development experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a management role
  • Experience in leading teams, including performance management and people management
  • In-depth understanding of free and open-source software development, e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Objective C, and etc.
  • Strong understanding of scalability and high availability systems
  • Experience in operations and managing live production applications, monitoring, remediation, and incident management
  • Strong understanding of RESTful service design, API design, and best practices for building resilient and maintainable distributed systems
