About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Evening Assistant Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the accounting department in various tasks, including handling accounts payables and receivables, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end journal entries, as well as monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing financial data, and identifying potential variances.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue and expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and optimize efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both electronically and physically.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role, preferably in the accounting industry.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
