Technical Project Manager

As a seasoned project leader, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to spearhead our projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, as well as experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. A proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork among developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical knowledge to ensure accurate estimates, validate assumptions, and guide architects and engineers toward pragmatic solutions.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews for developers and QA specialists, providing focused feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring everyone stays aligned on objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, escalating issues to keep projects on course.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field (Master's a plus).
  • 5+ Years Experience: Hands-on software development experience (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar).
  • 3+ Years Experience: Technical project management role—ideally within a software consultancy or product development team.
  • Proven Track Record: Delivering enterprise-scale projects on time and within budget, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep Agile Expertise: Fluency in tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional English communication—both verbal and written—for client calls, status reports, and documentation.
  • Leadership Skills: Proactive risk and change management mindset, with a keen eye for identifying issues before they escalate.
  • Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
