Job Overview

Our organization seeks a seasoned Software Development Professional to spearhead the development of APIs powering our cutting-edge AI-driven avatars. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building scalable APIs with audio data handling and third-party speech and animation services integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs for audio input and output, integrating TTS and ASR systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless backend services and avatar interaction.
  3. Optimize API performance for real-time interaction, ensuring minimal latency and maximum reliability.
  4. Implement robust authentication and data encryption for sensitive user interactions.
  5. Maintain comprehensive API documentation and assist in its integration into the larger platform.

Required Skills:

  1. Proven experience in software development using languages like Python, Node.js, or Go.
  2. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development, including audio data handling.
  3. Familiarity with cloud services for API hosting and scaling.
  4. Experience with integrating third-party APIs, especially in speech processing and animation.
  5. Strong understanding of security best practices for API development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with real-time data processing and WebSockets.
  2. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Familiarity with 3D rendering engines and their interaction with backend services.
