Exterior Envelope Designer

We seek an Exterior Envelope Designer to design and develop building facades that are both visually appealing and functional. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, draft, and model exterior envelope systems using various materials such as glass, metal, concrete, and more.\
  • Develop 2D and 3D models of exterior envelopes to ensure functionality and sustainability.\
  • Select appropriate materials for the exterior envelope based on budget, location, and functionality.\
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.\
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications for construction teams to follow.\
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in exterior envelope design.\
  • Requirements:\
    • \
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.\
    • Proven work experience as an Exterior Envelope Designer or similar role.\
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software programs.\
    • Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and structural principles.\
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.\
