Senior Financial Director Opportunity

This strategic leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including planning, reporting, and control. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial principles and laws, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the preparation and finalization of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Develop and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plans in collaboration with business functions.
  • C coordinate with external auditors to complete annual audited accounts on time.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for Letters of Credit (LCs), working capital financing, and treasury operations.
  • Guarantee 100% compliance with taxation matters, including sales tax, income tax, and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital requirements, and optimize financial resources to meet operational needs.
  • Design and implement robust costing models to accurately capture standard and actual product costs.
  • Analyze cost variances and recommend efficiency improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Streamline and centralize the accounts department to improve reporting and standardize financial controls.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate financial insights to management across COE, selling, and distribution functions.
  • Support the development of business models and tools for improved decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Hold a qualified Chartered Accountant degree from a recognized body.
  • Possess 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance, with 8+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in banking, treasury, costing, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Show proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and working with external auditors.
  • Exhibit a solid track record as a financial advisor to CEO/Board, with strong business acumen and decision-support capabilities.
