Lead Software Engineer in AI

We are seeking a highly experienced software engineer to lead our team in developing and implementing AI technologies.

About the Role:
  • Develop a comprehensive software engineering strategy focusing on AI innovations.
  • Align AI initiatives with business objectives through collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven software solutions, staying up-to-date on emerging AI trends and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring best practices in development, testing, and documentation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, support professional development, and oversee AI project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Work with product management, data science, and other departments to define requirements and deliverables.
  • Present technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of applied experience in software engineering, including 5+ years leading technologists in complex technical environments.
  • Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on AI, including hands-on skills in Python and AI frameworks like LangChain, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Leadership experience managing and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience influencing in complex, matrixed organizations and delivering value at scale.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
