Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bring story-driven characters to life with engaging and emotional animations.
  2. Envision and animate creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras based on detailed storyboards or script pages.
  3. Design scene layouts using a vast library of assets.
  4. Composit and animate cameras in a cinematic style that captivates audiences.
  5. Collaborate closely with 3D artists, leads, and the animation supervisor to ensure client requirements are met.
  6. Work under senior 3D artists' guidance to grow and develop business strategies, implement working methodologies, manage large projects, and coordinate visual effects output and quality control.
  7. Coordinate with lead animators to achieve timely completion of character assets at the desired quality standard.
  8. Possess a deep understanding of Animation Principles.
  9. Participate actively in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Experience in game development animating characters using Maya, Flash, Spine, After Effects, or equivalent 3D or 2D software.
  2. Strong comprehension of traditional animation principles and their application to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers.
  3. Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and a strong team player attitude.
  4. Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.
  5. A passion for video games.

Desirable Attributes:

  1. Experience in FX and Particle animation.
  2. Proficiency in one more related discipline: Modeling, rigging, or technical art.
  3. Experience with Unity.

Level of Experience: Mid-Senior level, minimum 4 years of experience.

This role is an onsite position.
