Software Engineering Lead

A distinguished Software Engineering Lead is sought after to spearhead the development of cutting-edge software solutions in a dynamic tech environment.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex systems while guiding junior and mid-level engineers. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to drive projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement robust software applications and systems that meet business needs.
  2. Design and architect high-quality, secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
  3. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers in knowledge sharing and skill development.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  5. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards through code reviews.
  6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose new tools and practices to improve the development process.
  7. Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  8. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to technology direction and product development roadmaps.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years of software development experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Expertise in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Strong experience in software architecture, design patterns, and microservices-based development.
  • Proficiency in database design and optimization, including both SQL and NoSQL solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
