Procurement Strategist

We seek a skilled and experienced procurement professional to lead purchasing activities and ensure high-quality products at cost-effective prices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective negotiation abilities, and precise record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise employees in the purchasing department to ensure efficient operations and adherence to established standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive purchasing plans for equipment, services, and supplies, aligning with company policies and procedures.
  • Review, analyze, and approve products and services for purchase, managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate pricing records.
  • Maintain supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and researching prospective suppliers to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare detailed budgets, cost analyses, and reports to inform strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
