Job Overview

This role involves leading data security initiatives and orchestration within a 24x7 Cyber Defense Center.

The position requires availability during weekends, nights, and off-hours to support organizational needs.

Effective people management is crucial, with a focus on upskilling CDC analysts in automation and data protection, mentoring for innovation, and improving operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage problem resolution and improve response capabilities
  • Lead shift handovers and ensure seamless transition of tasks
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to drive collaboration and alignment
  • Analyze patterns and anomalies from SOC escalations to enhance threat detection
  • Align with the CDC's innovation roadmap and contribute to strategic decision-making

The role emphasizes automation and AI/ML integration to strengthen data protection and policy enforcement.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Physical ability to transport and install equipment up to 40 lbs
  • Over 8 years of professional IT experience, including automation and people management
  • Strong programming skills, experience with automation projects, and awareness of current security threats, especially in data protection
  • Mandatory knowledge of DLP tools; CASB knowledge is essential
  • Proficiency in DLP investigations, excellent problem-solving, and communication skills in English
