Job Purpose:

  • To guarantee the reliability and stability of data center power infrastructure through proactive performance and fault management, seamless coordination with regional teams, and strategic vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory database of Core location power infrastructure, including HT/LV Panels, Diesel Generators, UPS Systems, Rectifiers, Battery Banks, HVAC Units, DCIM, and Fire Suppression Systems.
  • Establish and manage Level-2 maintenance contracts with relevant partners to support Datacenter operations and issue Purchase Orders for ongoing Level-2 maintenance contracts.
  • Coordinate closely with regional facility management teams and business partners to ensure that Level-1 and Level-2 maintenance is performed on nationwide Datacenters.
  • Plan the replacement of phased-out data center critical power & environment equipment, including DGs, CRACs, DC Power Systems, UPS, Battery Banks, to ensure data center stability.
  • Develop business cases, RFPs, technical evaluations, budgeting for CAPEX / OPEX projects related to Datacenter Power infrastructure.
  • Analyze OEM products installed in datacenters based on fault rates, system stability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Formulate policies and processes for operation and maintenance of nationwide datacenters.
  • Evaluate compliance with datacenter policies and perform audits.
  • Manage spare parts related to data center operation and identify future requirements based on fault rates and current stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to innovate and think critically.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.
