Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team as a remote employee.

This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and testing electrical systems and products. They will also evaluate and improve existing systems, conduct safety assessments and risk evaluations, collaborate with other engineering teams, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Design, develop and test electrical systems and products to meet the required specifications and standards.
  2. Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate existing electrical systems and products, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Safety and Risk Management: Conduct thorough safety assessments and risk evaluations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering teams to share knowledge, expertise and best practices to achieve common goals.
  5. Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and advancements by attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on systems design and development.
  2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, including circuit analysis, electronics, and electromagnetism.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools, such as CAD, PSpice, and MATLAB.
  4. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  5. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
