Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Game Artist to join our team. As a senior artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality game assets, working closely with the art director to bring the project's artistic vision to life.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Game Art Pipelines: Strong understanding of game art pipelines, including texturing, modeling, and animation.
  • Art Styles: Versatility and strong understanding of art styles, including stylized and realistic art.
  • Project Management: Technical understanding and ability to manage a project in a lead capacity, ensuring the completion of assigned tasks with minimal oversight from senior staff.
  • Specialization: Specialization in at least one area, such as organic modeling/sculpting or hard surface modeling, using the latest tools and techniques.
  • Unwrapping and Texturing: Proficiency in unwrapping and texturing (both modern and traditional texturing processes).
  • Environment Artists: Ability to create environments, work with lighting and shaders in game engines, and have a strong understanding of game level design.
  • Production Tasks: Versatility in production tasks: flexible enough to work on varying aspects of production based on project needs, e.g., characters, environments, etc.
  • Tools: Versatility with tools: open to learning new tools based on project requirements.
  • Art Integration: Ability to assist developers with art integration in-engine.
