Financial Data Specialist

Accounting and tax firms need skilled professionals to handle various financial tasks, including record-keeping, statement preparation, invoicing, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, reconcile bank statements, and manage daily transactions in accounting systems.
- Invoicing and Payments: Process invoices with proper documentation, issue payments to vendors and suppliers, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process client payroll, calculate wages, deductions, overtime, and benefits, and manage payroll taxes and deductions.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, generate reports for review, and support audit preparation by gathering required documentation.
- Data Entry and Accuracy: Enter financial data into software systems accurately, review and verify financial data for discrepancies, and assist in data cleansing and database maintenance.
- Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, maximize tax-saving opportunities, and stay current on accounting laws and regulations.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, at least 2 years of relevant work experience, advanced MS Excel skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and willingness to adapt and learn new tasks.
