Investment Researcher

This role is ideal for those passionate about investing and financial markets. As an Investment Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research across macro trends, sector analysis, company earnings, and digital assets. Your findings will contribute to Lumida's newsletter and research publications, providing timely and thoughtful insights to investors.

You will build and maintain robust chartbooks for macro, crypto, and sector-specific investment themes, staying current with global markets and synthesizing research into actionable investment ideas. Digesting research from various sources, you will produce insightful notes and track thematic equity baskets to generate a compelling daily narrative.

Your expertise will also support trade execution with slippage and order analysis, reviewing portfolios for tax-loss harvesting, and implementing strategies. Upholding a culture of discipline, ownership, and performance, you will be part of a team that values holistic growth and exceptional investment expertise.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a research-first mindset, strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to connect macro trends to investment ideas. You should be familiar with tools like GPT, Koyfin, Google Sheets, Trading View, and others, and take initiative, proactively learning and improving your skills.

The ideal candidate has a CFA Charter or is in progress, 3+ years of experience in a professional finance-related role, and a strong background in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field. They should have exceptional analytical and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to operate in high-performance environments.
