Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in the Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing industry.

About the Role
  • The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and securing the best deals.
  • They will also maintain and update a list of approved suppliers, conduct market research to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and business opportunities, and develop and implement procurement strategies and processes.
  • In addition, they will manage procurement documentation, monitor and analyze procurement metrics to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and engage with potential suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
  2. Maintain accurate records of approved suppliers, including contact information and performance data.
  3. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
  4. Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and requirements, and provide procurement support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing industry, preferably in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
