We are looking for a skilled Semi Senior Accountant to take on a challenging role in our UK-based practice. This position offers the opportunity to acquire operational and leadership experience while maintaining client-facing and hands-on accounting responsibilities.

This is an ideal position for an experienced Accountant who wants to prepare for a team management role. Responsibilities include:

  • Completing year-end accounts, CT600, Corporation tax computations and Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients
  • Supporting a team of Accountants and a Team Manager to deliver the agreed level of service
  • Training, coaching and mentoring apprentices and Junior Accountants
  • Quality control and file reviews of colleagues

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience within a UK-based accountancy practice
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be a Part-qualified/Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent

The working hours are from 9am to 5pm BST, strictly following UK base timings.
